I spent the better part of my afternoon cruising through downtown Baltimore and enjoying the sunshine. I was surprised to see how many dogs were out for a stroll, doing exactly the same thing and taking in the joy of simply being outside!
What a vast difference from Locust Point Ohio, where the Coast Guard and other agencies spent their time rescuing hundreds of fishermen stranded on an ice floe which had broken loose on Western Lake Erie.
An AMAZING rescue operation - HUNDREDS of lives saved. My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of the one man who died.
"You discover your role in life through your relationships with others" (Purpose Driven Life).
Bravo Zulu to the rescuers who have found their roles to be those which better the lives of others.
